I have been actively involved in the UEA and JEA for 12 years and know how important the work of the Unified Organization is. I have advocated for my colleagues as JEA Vice President and a member of various committees/teams (listed below). In all of these positions, I have worked for the rights of teachers in my district and state to ensure the best possible working environment and compensation.
This time in Utah’s history is crucial to the future of our society. Teachers are an absolutely vital part of that history. The UEA must stand in the forefront, as we did in the voucher fight, to ensure the teachers can provide the best possible educational opportunities for the future leaders of this state and nation. I feel I have the experience to help the UEA do just that. I hope I can count on your vote in the upcoming elections.
