I want to thank you for the opportunity I have had to serve as UEA Vice President. These past two years have been times of great learning. We have found that standing for what you believe in can be difficult, but also invigorating. I am running for re-election as UEA Vice President because I believe in the work we do for teachers and students. We know that no matter what the challenge – public education is the answer, not the problem. I will continue to work with the president to unite and strengthen our own membership, expand the effectiveness of our coalitions, and build a stronger future for our profession. I have the experience and skills to take us into that future. I am proud to be a member of the Utah Education Association. I am proud to stand strong beside you for public education.
