As you review my past 35 years of serving our students in various teacher associations, I have had the opportunity to meet many great individuals. I reflect upon the hard work that our members, non-members and friends of education did in defeating the “voucher bill.” We must continue the “fight,” not only for ourselves, but also more importantly for the future of education in the state. This is not the end of our battle for quality education for our children, but only the beginning! I am determined to continue in my pursuit of support for our schools, students, as well as teachers. I now ask you once again for your vote in allowing me to represent you at the NEA-RA. I want to be your voice at the NEA/RA.
