- Eighth grade Science teacher at Clarke N. Johnsen Jr. High in Tooele School District.
- Been teaching 24 years - 10 years at Grantsville Jr. High, 10 years at Tooele Jr. High and four years at Clarke N. Johnsen Jr. High.
- Wasatch UniServ covers three locals consisting of Salt Lake, Murray and Tooele School Districts.

- Currently serving on the UEA Teaching and Learning Committee.
Cheryl's Thoughts:
"What I learned about UEA that surprised me: "That there are so many committees."
What I value most about the Association: "They go to bat (or fight) for my rights. From the local district to the State Legislature - Mike McCoy, legal representative."
How members might begin to be more active in the Association: "Have something bad happen to them or to someone close to them and no one comes to their aid. Then they will think twice about joining."
