Marsha’s Thoughts:
"The first time I attended the NEA Representative Assembly, I was amazed at the democratic process I witnessed. It was then that I really understood that UEA and NEA truly represent the concerns of the everyday classroom teacher.
What I value most about the Association is the care and concern for the members. It is incredible how dedicated the elected leaders and staff are to those who teach.
Members can become more active in the Association by learning the process-volunteer for committees and offices. It (the service) gets in your blood."
