Applications
The Excellence in Teaching Awards are presented to Utah public school teachers whose efforts in the classroom have significantly impacted the life of an individual child or group of children. In 2010, ten educators will each receive $1,000 courtesy of William and Pat Child. The awards will be presented at the Superstars in Education Celebration on Oct. 14, held in conjunction with the UEA Convention & Education Exposition.
Eligibility
Nominations are accepted for licensed educators who are currently teaching in a Utah public school and are members of the Utah Education Association. Nominees must also be current UEA members.
Selection
A selection committee, comprised of representatives of William and Pat Child and the UEA, will review nominations following the nomination deadline. Winners will be notified by a UEA representative.
Deadlines
Nominations must be postmarked no later than September 17, 2010. Forms received after this date will not be considered.

This award is presented annually in conjunction with the UEA Honor Roll Awards and
will be presented at a special event at the 2010 UEA Convention to an individual who has
engaged in human and civil rights activities that have benefited education and had

UEA will recognize recipient(s) of the 2010 UEA Honor Roll Award at a special event at the 2010 UEA Convention. The selection will be made by the UEA Board of Directors upon the recommendation of a committee appointed by the Board. | Click here for nomination form
