Do you have an outstanding volunteer in your school who deserves recognition? The Utah Education Association is continuing its partnership with the Utah PTA and KUED in nominating and honoring outstanding public education volunteers. Award recipients are recognized during KUED's annual "Golden Apple Awards" telecast.
Nominees must volunteer within the PTA and will be judged based on their impact within the school and on students. Nomination forms must be submitted no later than February 19, 2010. Forms postmarked after this date will not be considered.
As in the past, the Utah PTA will also accept nominations for outstanding educators. PTA members who would like to nominate an educator can obtain forms at www.utahpta.org/awards.htm.
